Toll Payer Protection Act passes assembly, senate

With the clock ticking on this year's legislative session, the senate unanimously approved the bill, sponsored by local Democrats State Sen. David Carlucci and Assemblyman Tom Abinanti,D-Greenburgh, last night. The assembly passed the bill unanimously two weeks ago.

Among other things, the Toll Payer Protection Act ends the practice of suspending a driver's vehicle registration for unpaid tolls.
