Local officials gather supplies for school children

On September 5th New York State Senator Jim Gaughran dropped of more than a dozen boxes filled with back-to-school supplies and backpacks at Tri Community and Youth Agency, ‘Tri CYA,’ in Huntington. Senator Gaughran and Legislator Doc Spencer collected supplies from across the district as part of a back-to-school supply drive on behalf of Tri CYA. Tri CYA provides the supplies to local community children to ensure a successful school year.
