Free facemask giveaway in Lawrence

Beginning at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 7 at the Five Towns Community Center at 270 Lawrence Ave. in Lawrence, 10 free facemasks per car will be distributed.
No need to get out of the vehicle. Curbside pickup. Roll down the window. You are asked to be respectful of others to help not spread the coronavirus.
Mad Men Barbershop in Wantagh owned by the Dennehy family donated the masks. State Sen. Todd Kaminsky, a Democrat who represents the Five Towns, has helped coordinate the distribution and awareness of the event.
