Montgomery, Myrie, Walker Call for More Affordable Home Ownership Construction

State Senators Velmanette Montgomery (D-Fort Greene, Boerum Hill, Red Hook, Bedford-Stuyvesant, Sunset Park, Gowanus, and Park Slope) and Zellnor Myrie (D-Brownsville, Crown Heights, East Flatbush, Gowanus, Park Slope, Prospect Heights, Prospect Lefferts Gardens, South Slope, and Sunset Park) along with Assemblywoman Latrice Walker (D-Brownsville) on Friday will call for greater support of affordable homeownership opportunities.

The lawmakers will make the call along with the New York State NAACP, Habitat for Humanity New York City (Habitat NYC), and members of the Brooklyn clergy at a vacant lot stalled in the pipeline to become an affordable homeownership opportunity.
