Cayuga County Libraries Receive State Funding for Capital Projects

Some great news has been delivered by state Senator John Mannion to four Cayuga County area libraries. They will share in $1.1 million in state funds that will be used for capital projects.

$613,000 has been awarded to Auburn’s Seymour Library, and two grants totaling $387,000 have been earmarked for the Skaneateles Library. $94,000 dollars is headed to the Jordan Bramley Library and $33,000 will go to the Weedsport Free Library.

The library funding was included in the 2021-22 state budget.
