Two more key voters on the committee quickly followed suit. State Senator Jessica Scarcella-Spanton said in a statement that she would vote no, and Brooklyn Borough President Antonio Reynoso said on social media he would reject the bid.

That brings the no votes on that project to four of six. State Assemblymember Alec Brook-Krasny’s appointee to the Coney Island committee, Marissa Solomon, is an anti-casino activist in the neighborhood who has also said she will vote no.
