ALBANY — STATE SEN. JESSICA SCARCELLA-SPANTON joined the New York State Police Officers Memorial Ceremony in Albany on May 6, honoring 68 fallen officers, including 17 with ties to her district covering Southern Brooklyn and Staten Island, her office announced. Names like Port Authority Police Officer Anthony Varvaro were added to the memorial wall recognizing their sacrifice, including 9/11-related losses, at the Empire State Plaza.
