Senator Zeldin Holds First Consumer Protection Committee Meeting

Albany, NY-  Senator Lee M. Zeldin (R, C, I- Shirley) today held his first Consumer Protection Committee Meeting.   Senator Zeldin (pictured above, center) reported three bills through the Committee today, including S.1833, sponsored by Senator Flanagan which prohibits the sale of salvia divinorum in New York.  Also reported out of Committee today was S.2910, sponsored by Senator Zeldin, which amends the telemarketing sales calls statewide registry to include unwanted facsimile transmissions.
