"After receiving calls from the community and having conversations with Commissioner Joe Martens from the Department of Environmental Conservation regarding the air quality in the neighborhood near the Peace Bridge, I am happy to see that the DEC has agreed to my request to extend the air quality monitoring process and add more air monitoring sites during the upcoming high-traffic summer months. I look forward to working with the community around the Peace Bridge and the DEC to ensure that everyone is on the same page at all stages of the air quality monitoring process."
