State Senator Patty Ritchie is pleased to announce that as of March 3rd, she has received 10,696 responses to her 2020 Legislative Survey, which seeks constituent input on a number of issues, including Albany’s new bail laws, the Governor’s proposal to close state prisons with 90 days’ notice, the state budget gap and the legalization of recreational marijuana, among others.

Responses, from Oswego, Jefferson and St. Lawrence Counties, are currently being tabulated and results will be announced in the near future.

“The most important part of my job is listening to the feedback and ideas of those who put their trust in me to represent them,” said Senator Patty Ritchie. “I am truly grateful that nearly 11,000 people have completed my 2020 Legislative Survey and shared their views on issues facing our state. I look forward to reviewing all of the feedback shared with me, and making your voices heard as I continue to advocate for our region.”

Those who have not yet filled out the survey can do so by clicking here, or by calling one of Senator Ritchie's district offices to have a survey mailed to them.
