Notice to Constituents

On Monday, September 6, 2021, Governor Kathy Hochul received approval from President Biden for a Major Disaster Declaration due to the destruction caused by Hurricane Ida.  It was clear when I toured Yonkers with Governor Hochul the gravity and intensity of damage done to my constituents and the district as a whole. The approval allowed access to FEMA’s resources for individuals, businesses, schools, and non-profits in the district and beyond.
Please find below resources connecting you to information that will assist in the recovery process from this devastating disaster.
