Kaplan, Kaminsky, and Solages Announce Resume & Interview Workshop for UBS Arena

(Elmont, New York) — Today, Senators Todd Kaminsky, Anna Kaplan, and Assemblywoman Michaelle Solages, announced an interview and resume strategy workshop for local residents on Monday, June 28 at 7 p.m. The seminar will help community members secure positions at the UBS Arena and throughout the region.  

“The Belmont Park Redevelopment will be a game-changer for Elmont and Valley Stream, creating local jobs and spurring economic development,” said Senator Kaminsky. “I encourage residents to sign up for this resume and interview workshop to help them land positions at the UBS Arena and throughout the region. I will continue to advocate for further local investment as the project progresses — our community deserves nothing less.”

Senator Anna M. Kaplan said, “Whether you’re looking to score a new career at the UBS arena or somewhere else, it never hurts to brush up on interview skills and have a little help updating your resume.  I urge all residents in the job market to check out this helpful free event.”

Nielsen Associates, a Long Island-based executive recruiting firm, will be presenting the workshop, in coordination with New York Arena Partners as well as Kaminsky, Kaplan and Solages. The seminar will last one hour and will cover resume writing, interviewing and job search techniques.
