Senator Mattera Joins SCPD For Coffee With A Cop

Senator Mario R. Mattera (2ND Senate District) is joining Suffolk County Police Department’s Fourth Precinct to host a special event to bring the community and law enforcement together. The Coffee With A Cops event will take place on Wednesday, October 27, 2021, from 11 am to 1 pm at Sweetwaters Coffee & Tea, which is located at 200 West Main Street in Smithtown.
During this event, the community is invited to stop by for a free cup of coffee and to meet with officers from the Fourth Precinct.
This day is dedicated to encouraging communication and positive interactions between law enforcement agencies and our community. In addition to police officers, Senator Mattera will be available to discuss public safety and criminal justice issues.
“It is essential for our community to maintain strong relationships and trust between local law enforcement and the public. I am proud to partner with a local small business and the members of the Suffolk County Police Department to help bring the public and our men and women in blue together in a casual setting. Our dedicated police officers are there every single day for our community and it will be a great opportunity for the residents to speak directly to them to know who is protecting their families,” stated Senator Mattera.
