Senator Cleare Provides Platform To Address Faith Community Concerns at Faith Leaders Forum

State Senator Cordell Cleare is pleased to extend a cordial invitation to the Faith Leaders Forum, an event dedicated to providing an opportunity for faith leaders to voice and discuss challenges and concerns affecting their organizations and congregations. Secondly, the forum aims to foster connections by providing information and resources that can be instrumental to the organizations and congregations represented. Insights from Government Representatives: The event will feature distinguished representatives from various government agencies. The Office of the New York State Attorney General will offer insights into the processes related to land use, air rights, and zoning for faith-based organizations. The Mayor’s Office will elaborate on the "Building in God’s Backyard" initiative, showcasing collaborative opportunities. Additionally, both the New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission and the New York State Historic Preservation Commission will provide guidance on the landmark process. Community Engagement with "Save Harlem Now!": Faith leaders will also have the opportunity to engage with "Save Harlem Now!" representatives, who will share valuable information on public spaces available for community use.
