Senator Mattera Honored By Outreach

Outreach Event

Senator Mario R. Mattera (2nd Senate District) was recently honored at Outreach's 29th Annual Long Island Luncheon.  He, along with fellow honorees Christine Ireland-DiLeo, Vice President of TD Bank, and Michael Ward, Senior Vice President of Vanderbilt Financial Group, was honored for his dedication to helping those who are working to overcome substance abuse during the special event at Stonebridge Country Club.

Outreach provides quality, life-changing drug and alcohol abuse treatment and training services – the kind that helps individuals and their families to cope with their problems, heal themselves and move forward in a more positive direction.

“It was a great honor to be recognized by a wonderful organization like Outreach which does great work for our entire region.  Thank you to President and CEO Debra Pantin and Mike Borgal, Business Agent for Local 282 Teamsters, for this great honor.  The devoted and selfless staff at Outreach, who work tirelessly at their mission to help those who are looking to better themselves, is inspiring and I look forward to working with all of them in the coming years,” stated Senator Mattera.
