State Senator Monica R. Martinez welcomes participants of a grant writing workshop.

New York state Sen. Monica R. Martinez hosted a grant-writing workshop this week for local community organizations to assist them in securing funding for their programs and services.  This free training was presented by Marcos Maldonado, a principal at MTHC, Inc., who also co-sponsored the event.

The workshop was held at the Brentwood Fire Department and provided valuable insights into the grant application process, specifically funding opportunities through the state of New York.  The seminar was intended to empower participants with the knowledge and tools needed to effectively pursue grant funding opportunities, whether they are new to grant writing or looking to enhance their skills.
