Senator Roxanne J. Persaud Hosts Annual Holiday Toy Distribution, Serving Over 400 Brooklyn Children

Brooklyn, NY — December 21, 2025 — New York State Senator Roxanne J. Persaud hosted her annual Holiday Toy Distribution on Sunday at I.S. 211 John Wilson School in Brooklyn, bringing holiday cheer to more than 400 children and families from across the community.

Children ranging from toddlers to 14 years old received toys, winter coats, hats, gloves, clothing, and other essential items, helping families prepare for the winter season while celebrating the spirit of giving. The event also featured a special visit from Santa Claus, allowing families to capture memorable holiday photos.

This year’s celebration included a special celebrity appearance by Sergio Delavicci, who partnered with Senator Persaud for the second consecutive year, continuing a shared commitment to uplifting and supporting local families during the holidays.

“This event is one of the highlights of my year,” said Senator Roxanne J. Persaud. “Every December, I look forward to coming together with our community to bring joy, warmth, and smiles to our children. Seeing the excitement on their faces reminds us why this work matters so much. I am grateful to our partners, volunteers, and sponsors for helping make this event possible once again.”

The Holiday Toy Distribution was made possible through the generous support of community organizations, sponsors, and volunteers who worked together to ensure a joyful and welcoming experience for all attendees.
