Three Suffolk County businesses have received Empire Awards from New York State Sen. Monica R. Martinez. The businesses, all located within the Fourth Senatorial District, are: Dulce de Leche Bakery, located at 346 N. Windsor Ave., Brightwaters; Izalco Deli, located at 1558 Brentwood Road, Bay Shore; and Moloney Family Funeral Homes, which has seven locations, including Central Islip and Hauppauge.
“These honorees represent the very best of New York’s small businesses, driving local economic growth while giving back to the neighborhoods they serve,” said Sen. Martinez. “We thank them for their commitment to our community and for the care, quality and dedication they provide to their customers and neighbors every day.”
The New York State Senate Empire Award recognizes local businesses for their dedication to customers, employees and the communities they serve. The award highlights businesses that contribute to local growth and community well-being across New York state.
“Entrepreneurship is never easy. It means staking your future on an idea, pushing forward through uncertainty, and believing what you build can last. In New York we honor those who follow their ambitions and do so in a way that betters our state,” Sen. Martinez concluded.
