National Library Week!
I was proud to speak on the Senate Floor today and offer my strong support for our excellent public libraries in recognition of "Library Week" in New York State. This year marks the 64th anniversary of National Library Week – a special celebration and recognition sponsored by the American Library Association and libraries nationwide. I'm proud to be a lifelong advocate of libraries, literacy, and lifelong learning, having helped establish the Clifton Park-Halfmoon Public Library, serving as a Director on the Clifton Park-Halfmoon Library Foundation, and as the Ranking Republican Member on our Senate Libraries Committee. Our public libraries are incredible community resources with so much to offer for everyone. My thanks to our public libraries and dedicated librarians that continue helping and serving all New Yorkers!
