On Wednesday, May 27th, Senator Serrano proudly recognized Jane Altacho-Davis as the 29th Senate District’s representative in the New York State Senate’s 2025 Veterans Hall of Fame. Ms. Altacho-Davis dedicated an impressive thirty-three years of her life to the U.S. Army, where she rose to the esteemed rank of Lieutenant Colonel. Her exemplary service has earned her numerous prestigious military honors, including the distinguished Bronze Star Medal, reflecting her bravery and commitment to serving her country. Beyond her military achievements, Ms. Altacho-Davis remains an active and engaged member of the Shorehaven community in the Bronx, where she continues to support and uplift her neighbors through various community initiatives and outreach programs.
