Senator Montgomery Celebrates the Grand Opening of the Kenneth P. Thompson Boutique

On Tuesday, September 10, 2019, Senator Montgomery celebrated the Grand Opening of the Kenneth P. Thompson Boutique with Brooklyn District Attorney Eric Gonzalez, Assemblywoman Diana Richardson, Kevin Livingston, Founder and President of 100 Suits for 100 Men, and Mrs. Lu-Shawn Thompson, widow of the late DA Ken Thompson.

The boutique commemorates the legacy of the late D.A. Kenneth P. Thompson and is the result of a collaboration between the DA’s office and 100 Suits For 100 Men. The boutique will play a key role in assisting formerly incarcerated men and women returning to the job force by providing them with professional attire to wear during their search for employment. As a believer of second chances, Senator Montgomery expressed her gratitude and recognition to DA Gonzalez for his efforts in helping previously incarcerated men and women make a smooth and successful re-entry into our community.
