LEGISLATIVE WRAP-UP (2024)

In 2024, the Senate Democratic Majority continued its fight to make New York a fairer and more equitable society, where all New Yorkers can feel safe, secure, and prosperous. In support of this goal, the Majority passed 805 two-house bills, including critical protections for reproductive health care, improvements to New York’s election laws, worker protections, and environmental conservation laws.
