Rockland County has had enough of being an ATM for the MTA.
This payroll-tax increase would affect hundreds of businesses, companies, and mom-and-pop shops across our region who have struggled with COVID rules and a declining economy.
The mobility tax should be repealed entirely.
MTA leadership needs to focus on eliminating waste, fraud and abuse instead of looking for another taxpayer-funded bailout.
