After already raising taxes by $2 billion this year, Albany has found another way to nickel and dime hardworking middle class taxpayers by making us buy new license plates for our cars, trucks and work vehicles.
Replacing every current plate on the road will cost motorists at least $75 million next year alone in higher vehicle registration fees.
They tried it before, in 2010, but backed down after hundreds of thousands of New Yorkers signed a petition to stop it.
I urge you to join with me once again and tell Albany that we don’t need another unwanted tax!
Sign my petition and say NO to new plates!
