Say "NO" to the Gas Tax

Inflation, an international energy crisis and bad policies are crushing commuters.
According to AAA, a year ago a gallon of gas in New York State cost, on average, two-fifty. As of March 7, it's approaching $4.50 a gallon in our region, with no relief in sight. We already pay a gas tax of 48 cents a gallon and if the Democrat-run Climate Action Council has its way, we’ll be paying an additional 55 cents as a “green” energy tax.
If you live in this region, you need your car to get to work, or go anywhere. You're already paying more than ever before and shouldn’t have to pay yet another cost.
This petition calls on Gov. Hochul and the Legislature to suspend the gas tax and provide real relief for our families.
Because if we don’t find ways to make New York more affordable, we won’t be fueling a “green” revolution; we'll fuel a further exodus of residents from our state.
