Senator Kathy Marchione proudly stands with families in Nassau, Schodack and Stephentown in OPPOSING the Kinder Morgan Pipeline project and proposed Gas Compressor Station.
Senator Marchione is working to help preserve and protect the health, safety, quality of life and property values of local families. Here’s how:
- Wrote the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) expressing her strong opposition to the Kinder Morgan Pipeline. Senator Marchione urged FERC to reject the project due to its expected negative impact on local health, safety, quality of life and property values;
- Asked U.S. Senators Charles Schumer and Kirsten Gillibrand to use their influence in the federal government to help stop the Gas Compressor Station and save Burden Lake;
- Launched an on-line petition – located at Marchione.NYSenate.Gov – to continue building local grassroots support AGAINST the Kinder Morgan Pipeline and Gas Compressor Station.
