Hudson Valley Call to Action!

SEN. Terrence Murphy

July 10, 2018

The Army Corps of Engineers is hosting three public meetings this week to examine a proposal to build barriers designed to protect New York City from severe storms. Although residents in the Hudson Valley will be affected, there are no meetings scheduled in the 40th Senate District, leaving residents in the dark about the proposals. Senator Murphy will call for a public hearing in Sleepy Hollow and will announce the start of an online petition.
We deserve a seat at the table!
The United States Army Corps of Engineers is overlooking the lower Hudson Valley's interests.  They are holding meetings in New York City, New Jersey and Poughkeepsie.  What about us?!
Senator Terrence Murphy is fighting to get us a seat at the table.  We deserve to know how this impacts our communities and our river.
Sign the petition and tell the United States Army Corps of Engineers to hold a meeting in Sleepy Hollow so we can learn, understand and ask questions about their proposal!
