My office has heard from a number of constituents who have reported discrepancies when it comes to their E-ZPass billing statements. I have communicated with the New York State Thruway Authority and state Comptroller’s Office and asked them to examine and address this issue.

I understand the importance of having transportation infrastructure in place that can efficiently and effectively move people throughout the state. However, it is imperative that we make sure that this infrastructure, including cashless tolling, operates as intended and does not create additional financial burdens for those utilizing the Thruway.
