Senator Helming's 2021 Women of Distinction Nomination Form

March 19, 2021

Senator Pam Helming invites you to nominate friends, co-workers and community leaders for the annual New York State Senate Women of Distinction awards program. The award recognizes local women for exceptional contributions to their communities.

Nominations must be received by April 19, 2021.

Nominees must live in the 54th District, but anyone can submit a nomination. The 54th District covers Seneca and Wayne counties, parts of Cayuga and Ontario counties, and the towns of Lansing and Webster.

Senator Helming will honor all nominees from the 54th District as Women of Distinction honorees. The State Senate will honor one individual from each Senate district as that district’s “Woman of Distinction.”

Senator Helming said, “Across the 54th District, there are incredible women who are making a difference in their communities, workplaces and families. As the first woman elected to represent this district, home to the birthplace of the women’s rights movement, I feel a special responsibility to recognize, celebrate and support our inspiring female leaders.”
