Sign My Petition: Say No To Elder Parole

say no to elder parole petition

Elder parole legislation (S.2423/A.2035) would grant an automatic parole hearing to 55-year-old incarcerated individuals who have served 15 years of their sentences. These convicted criminals would be considered for release, regardless of the sentence handed down by the judge or jury, or the crime they committed.

Incarcerated felons will not have to serve the minimum sentence imposed by the judge and life without parole would effectively be eliminated.

With 32 co-sponsors in the Senate, this bill has enough support to pass should it be brought to the floor for a vote. You can read the bill here.
