Oppose Public Funded College Tuition to Convicts

As part of the Governor’s 2016-17 Executive Budget proposal, Governor Cuomo is calling for $7.5 million in public funds to be used to finance a college education for convicted criminals behind bars. Your hard-earned money would pay for prisoners to earn their college degrees. With tax dollars scarce and tuition assistance to working class New Yorkers almost non-existent, how can we support this injustice?
