Thank you for your interest in participating in the  Recycle for Sight Program!

The Office of Senator Roxanne J. Persaud, in partnership with Lions Club International, invites schools across the district to participate in the Recycle for Sight Program, a service-oriented initiative that supports sustainable vision care.

By collecting gently used eyeglasses, schools can help provide the gift of sight to individuals in need both locally and around the world.
Donated glasses are cleaned, sorted, and redistributed to communities where access to vision care is limited.

Participating schools will receive a New York State Certificate of Participation.

How Schools Can Participate:
• Sign up below to be an official drop-off site (while supplies last, you will receive a Recycle for Sight signage poster to support in-school promotion).
• Encourage students, families, and staff to donate gently used eyeglasses
• Deliver collected eyeglasses to the Office of Senator Roxanne J. Persaud on a rolling basis
