         2                  THE PRESIDENT:    The Senate will

         3       please come to order.

         4                  I ask everyone present to rise and

         5       recite with me the Pledge of Allegiance to our

         6       Flag.

         7                  (Whereupon, the assemblage recited

         8       the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.)

         9                  THE PRESIDENT:    May we now bow

        10       our heads for a moment of silence.

        13                  THE PRESIDENT:    The reading of

        14       the Journal.

        15                  The Secretary will read.

        16                  THE SECRETARY:    In Senate,

        17       Tuesday, January 5, the Senate, in

        18       Extraordinary Session, met pursuant to

        19       adjournment.  The Journal of Saturday,

        20       January 2, was read and approved.  On motion,

        21       Senate adjourned.

        22                  THE PRESIDENT:    Without

        23       objection, the Journal stands approved as

        24       read.

         1                  Senator Klein.

         2                  SENATOR KLEIN:    Mr. President, I

         3       believe there's a concurrent resolution at the

         4       desk.  I ask that the resolution be read in

         5       its entirety and move for its immediate

         6       adoption.

         7                  THE PRESIDENT:    The Secretary

         8       will read the substitution.

         9                  THE SECRETARY:    The Assembly sent

        10       for concurrence Assembly Concurrent Resolution

        11       Number 818.

        12                  Senator Sampson moved to substitute

        13       Senate Concurrent Resolution Number 3541 for

        14       Assembly Concurrent Resolution Number 818.

        15                  THE PRESIDENT:    Substitution

        16       ordered.

        17                  The Secretary will read the

        18       resolution.

        19                  THE SECRETARY:    Concurrent

        20       Resolution of the Senate and Assembly relative

        21       to adjournment sine die of the Extraordinary

        22       Session originally convened November 10, 2009.

        23                  "RESOLVED, That the Legislature

        24       adjourn the Extraordinary Session originally
