14 the reading of the Journal.
15 THE SECRETARY: In Senate,
16 Monday, January 2nd, the Senate met pursuant
17 to adjournment. The Journal of Friday,
18 December 30th, was read and approved. On
19 motion, Senate adjourned.
20 THE PRESIDENT: Without
21 objection, the Journal stands approved as
22 read.

8 in consultation with Senator Sampson, we hand
9 up the following committee assignments and
10 ask that they be filed in the Journal.

13 I believe there's a resolution at the desk.
14 I ask that it be read in its entirety and
15 move for its immediate adoption.
16 THE PRESIDENT: The Secretary
17 will read.
18 THE SECRETARY: By Senator
19 Skelos, Concurrent Resolution of the Senate
20 and Assembly relative to the adjournment
21 sine die of the 2011 session of the
22 Legislature.
23 "RESOLVED, That the 2011 session
24 of the Legislature adjourn sine die on
25 Wednesday, January 4, 2012, simultaneously

1 with the commencement of the 2012 legislative
2 session."
3 THE PRESIDENT: The question is
4 on the resolution. All those in favor
5 signify by saying aye.

10 is adopted.
