 3   come to order.  

 4                I ask everyone present to please 

 5   rise and recite with me the Pledge of Allegiance.

17   adjournment.  The Journal of Monday, January 6, 

18   2020, was read and approved.  On motion, Senate 

19   adjourned.

21   the Journal stands approved as read.

 6                SENATOR GIANARIS:   Happy New Year, 

 7   Madam Lieutenant Governor.  It's good to see you 

 8   again.  

 9                I believe there's a resolution at 

10   the desk to adjourn the 2019 session sine die.  I 

11   move to read it in its entirety and for its 

12   immediate adoption, please.

13                THE PRESIDENT:   The Secretary will 

14   read.

15                THE SECRETARY:   Concurrent 

16   Resolution 2342 of the Senate and Assembly, by 

17   Senator Stewart-Cousins, relative to the 

18   adjournment sine die of the 2019 Session of the 

19   Legislature.

20                "RESOLVED, That the 2019 Session of 

21   the Legislature adjourn sine die on Wednesday, 

22   January 8, 2020, simultaneously with the 

23   commencement of the 2020 Legislative Session."

24                THE PRESIDENT:   The question is on 

25   the resolution.  All those in favor signify by

 3                THE PRESIDENT:   Opposed, nay.

 4                (No response.)

 5                THE PRESIDENT:   The resolution is
