ADDABBO HOSTS FREE PROSTATE CANCER SCREENING

New York State Senator Joseph P. Addabbo Jr. and Integrated Medical Foundation will provide free Prostate cancer screenings at his office at 66-85 73rd Place, Middle Village, Queens.

The free examinations will be provided on Saturday, April 15, from 10 – 11:30 a.m., and are open to all men ages 40 and older who have NOT been previously diagnosed with prostate cancer, regardless of whether they have insurance. If you have been previously diagnosed with prostate cancer, you are ineligible for screening.

Screenings will involve a PSA Blood Test. To be notified of exam results, please bring a single stamped self-addressed envelope. You must bring a Photo ID, such as a driver’s license, that contains an address.

“Early detection is the only proven method of preventing prostate cancer,” Addabbo said. “That is why I am happy to provide this free service for the residents of my district.”

Appointments are necessary and space is limited. To schedule an appointment or for more information, contact NYS Sen. Addabbo’s office at 66-85 73rd Place, Middle Village. Phone: (718) 497-1630.
