On Sunday, June 2, the elected officials will be set up outside of the American Legion Post 1404, located at 209 Cross Bay Boulevard in Broad Channel, between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. giving out free rain barrels to those who register.
In order to get your free rain barrel, you must register with either Addabbo’s or Pheffer Amato’s office. To register, call Addabbo’s office at 718-738-1111 or Pheffer Amato’s office at 718-945-9550 and leave your name and address. Then arrive at the American Legion on June 2 to pick up your rain barrel.
