Addabbo to Host Super Services Day - One Office, 3X the Services

Senator Joseph P. Addabbo, Jr. is proud to announce that he is offering his constituents a Super Services Day, a time when people can come to his District Office in Woodhaven and get triple the number of services that they would receive on a typical day. Addabbo’s staff will be on hand to provide the same great constituent services they always do, but in addition to that there will be one-on-one senior legal services in the morning and social services in the afternoon. The kickoff is Thursday, November 2, 2023, by appointment only.

Jewish Association Serving the Aging (JASA) will provide legal services to seniors (age 60 + and bring proof of age) in the morning from 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. These services cover the following areas: eviction prevention, housing rights, foreclosure prevention, property fraud, elder abuse, estate planning (no wills or trusts), predatory lending, Social Security, SSI, and Medicaid eligibility.

Quincy Asian Resources Inc. (QARI) will provide social services in the afternoon from 1:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. They will offer services in the following areas: Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP), Cash Assistance, Emergency Rental Assistance (ERAP), Fair Fare, Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP), NYCHA, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP).

“My office aims to supply my constituents with the best services possible, and now we are expanding upon that by offering a one-stop-shop with three times the amount of assistance,” Addabbo said. “It will truly be a Super Services Day. Get all the help you need right in your own community. If the program is as successful as I anticipate it will be, I will certainly consider expanding it to my Middle Village Office and add more dates.”
