Senator Monica R. Martinez Free Car Seat Inspection

I am excited to be hosting a Free Car Seat Inspection in Partnership with the New York State Troopers and Sun River Health on Wednesday, August 2, 2023, from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Brentwood Fire Department located at 125 Fourth Street, Brentwood. 

Car Seats play a critical role in protecting our most vulnerable passengers in the event of a collision, reducing the risk of injuries by up to 70%. But unfortunately, over half of all car seats are not properly installed, which can cause them to not be as effective in the event of an accident. 

In an effort to keep our community safe, we have partnered with the New York State Troopers to provide free car seat inspections. Snacks, Water, Games, and Face Painting will also be on-site for a day we hope is fun for the entire family!
