Nominate an 'A+ Teacher!' 2022

HYDE PARK, NY – In recognition of ‘Teacher Appreciation Week,’ Senator Sue Serino is looking to celebrate exceptional teachers who go above and beyond both inside and outside the classroom. Local students are encouraged to nominate a teacher who they feel has made a difference in their life and has created a positive learning environment.

“Through challenging times, our teachers have found innovative and creative ways to keep our students engaged and interested in learning,” said Senator Sue Serino. “We’re so grateful for the work they do each and every day, and we want to recognize them for their dedication and contributions to our community. Teachers play a major role in the daily lives of our students, and even in the midst of a pandemic, they continue to ensure that our children get the education they deserve. I invite local students to share how their teachers are exemplifying what it means to be an ‘A+ Teacher,’ and I look forward to learning more about the incredible work being done in our community!”
