Speaking to PS 78 students about the election process as they vote for their student council today

Senator Gianaris' have marched in the LIC Halloween Parade with Councilman Van Bramer, Sheila Lewandowski and lots of people gathered to honor the day.

Senator Gianaris was one of the hosts of a town hall meeting in Hunters Point, where he discussed ,along with the parents, local electeds and the educational community, about the coming opening of the two new schools IS/HS 404 and PS 78/312  in the community.

Senator Gianaris was one of the participants of Queens Library Family LiteracyWalk at Socrates Sculpture Park, an event that gathered people of different ages who walked  under the same cause.

Senator Jack M. Martins recently attended the Telugu Literary and Cultural Association (TLCA) Picnic, where he discussed issues with members of this prestigious Indian associations. It was a beautiful Sunday afternoon at Christopher Morley Park. Senator Martins was honored to have spent time with the esteemed members of TLCA of New York, one of the earliest Indian Associations in North America and the first Telugu association. The TLCA was formed with the primary goal of promoting the Telugu Literary and Cultural Activities in the tristate area. Successive generations of Telugu children and adults have benefited from its tremendous success towards this goal, as can be seen by the vitality of its programs even 35 years later.
