Both Lauren Marie and Joelle won an essay writing contest as judged by AARP Chapter 4123. Senator Addabbo was there to happily present these fine students with a citation congratulating them on their accomplishment.

Padavan Launches Summer Reading Program for Local Students

 With the end of the school year and summer fast approaching, New York State Senator Frank Padavan (Queens) is inviting all area students in the community to participate in his Summer Reading Challenge Program. SENATOR KLEIN WELCOMES P.S. 81 STUDENTS IN ALBANY

State Senator and Deputy Majority Leader Jeffrey D. Klein (D-Bronx/Westchester) welcomed 120 students from P.S. 81 Robert J. Christen School in Albany on Tuesday for the school’s annual field trip to the Capital. The students received a tour of the Capitol building and the Corning Tower at Empire State Plaza and were then treated to a pizza party sponsored by Senator Klein.
