GALLIVAN -- read twice and ordered printed, and when printed to be committed to the Committee on Corpo- rations, Authorities and Commissions IN ASSEMBLY -- Introduced by M. of A. BURLING -- read once and referred to the Committee on Libraries and Education Technology AN ACT in relation to the dissolution of the Wadsworth Library and the redistribution of any funds and/or assets held by such library THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The Wadsworth Library and its incorporated trustees, created by chapter 262 of the laws of 1869 is hereby dissolved and all assets, holdings, and belongings owned in whole or in part by the Wads- worth Library shall be transferred to the Wadsworth Library, a public school district library established by vote on October 23, 2007 and granted an absolute charter in the first instance by the New York State Board of Regents on September 16, 2008. S 2. This act shall take effect immediately. EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted. LBD08141-01-1
