BENEDETTO -- read once and referred to the Committee on Veterans' Affairs AN ACT to amend a chapter of the laws of 2013 amending the executive law relating to enacting the "veterans employment act", in relation to an extension of time THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 2 of a chapter of the laws of 2013 amending the executive law relating to enacting the "veterans employment act", as proposed in legislative bills numbers S. 5504-A and A. 7761, is amended to read as follows: S 2. This act shall take effect [immediately] ON THE ONE HUNDRED EIGHTIETH DAY AFTER IT SHALL HAVE BECOME A LAW. S 2. This act shall take effect on the same date and in the same manner as a chapter of the laws of 2013 amending the executive law relating to enacting the "veterans employment act", as proposed in legislative bills numbers S. 5504-A and A. 7761, takes effect. EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted. LBD13514-01-4

Section 2 of chapter 557 of the laws of 2013 amending the executive law relating to enacting the "veterans employment act", is amended to read as follows: S 2.
