AN ACT to direct the New York state department of health  to  conduct  a
  study on the incidences of asthma in cities having a population of one
  hundred thousand or more and to prepare a report

  THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  Section 1. The commissioner of the New York state department of health
is hereby authorized and directed to prepare or have prepared a study of
the incidences of asthma in  all  cities  having  a  population  of  one
hundred  thousand  or  more. The study and report shall include a map of
each city indicating each incident of asthma.
  S 2. The study shall be completed by September thirtieth, two thousand
seventeen.
  S 3. The report and an interactive map shall be completed  and  posted
on  the  department  of  health's website by January first, two thousand
eighteen.
  S 4. This act shall take effect immediately.
