S T A T E O F N E W Y O R K ________________________________________________________________________ 6553 2019-2020 Regular Sessions I N A S S E M B L Y March 11, 2019 ___________ Introduced by M. of A. OTIS -- read once and referred to the Committee on Ways and Means AN ACT to amend chapter 509 of the laws of 2016, amending the tax law relating to authorizing the imposition of an occupancy tax in the village of Port Chester, in relation to the effectiveness thereof THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 2 of chapter 509 of the laws of 2016, amending the tax law relating to authorizing the imposition of an occupancy tax in the village of Port Chester, is amended to read as follows: § 2. This act shall take effect immediately and shall expire and be deemed repealed [three years after such date] DECEMBER 31, 2022. § 2. This act shall take effect immediately. EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted. LBD10236-01-9
