 AN ACT to amend  chapter  297 of the laws of 2020 relating to  requiring
   the  department  of  labor  to produce a report regarding summer youth
   employment programs funded by state, federal and    local    appropri-
   ations,    in relation to expanding the reporting requirements; and in
   relation to extending the effectiveness of such chapter
 
   THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section  1. The opening paragraph and subdivisions a and e of  section
 1 of chapter 297 of the laws of 2020 relating to requiring the   depart-
 ment  of  labor  to  produce  a report regarding summer youth employment
 programs funded by state, federal  and    local    appropriations,    as
 amended  by  chapter  28  of  the  laws  of 2021, are amended to read as
 follows:
   On May 1, [2022] 2023, the office of temporary and disability  assist-
 ance,  in  consultation with the education department, the department of
 labor, the  office of children and family services, and any other entity
 the office of temporary and  disability  assistance  deems  appropriate,
 shall  produce  a  report  regarding the summer youth employment program
 funded by state, federal, and local appropriations.  The report shall:
   a. Determine the total number of jobs available for youth in all  pre-
 existing  programs,  including the nature of the jobs during each of the
 years from 2016 through [2021] 2022;
   e.  Show the effect of current and  previous  minimum  wage  rates  on
 total placement opportunities during the years 2016 through [2021] 2022.
   § 2. Section 3 of  chapter 297 of the laws of 2020 relating to requir-
 ing  the  department of labor to produce a report regarding summer youth
 employment programs funded by state, federal and  local  appropriations,
 as  amended  by  chapter  28  of the laws of 2021, is amended to read as
 follows:
   § 3. This act shall take effect immediately and shall  expire  and  be
 deemed repealed [2] 3 years after such date.
