LALOR -- read once and referred to the Committee on Governmental Operations AN ACT to amend chapter 476 of the laws of 1957 relating to authorizing the board of commissioners of the land office to grant certain ease- ments in lands of the State University Agricultural and Technical Institute at Farmingdale to Central Hudson Gas and Electric Corpo- ration, in relation to the description of lands for which the Commis- sioner of General Services is authorized to grant an easement to the Central Hudson Gas and Electric Corporation THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Sections 1 and 2 of chapter 476 of the laws of 1957, relating to authorizing the board of commissioners of the land office to grant certain easements in lands of the State University Agricultural and Technical Institute at Farmingdale to Central Hudson Gas and Elec- tric Corporation, are amended to read as follows: § 1. The [board of commissioners of the land office, with] COMMISSION- ER OF GENERAL SERVICES, UPON the consent [and approval of the board of trustees of State University of New York] OF THE COMMISSIONER OF THE DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL CONSERVATION, is hereby authorized to grant and convey to the Central Hudson Gas and Electric Corporation, [a domes- tic corporation organized and existing under the laws of the State of New York, easements in and across two parcels of land of the State University Agricultural and Technical Institute at Farmingdale, herein- after described in section two of this act,] AN EASEMENT OF STATE LANDS MORE ACCURATELY DESCRIBED IN SECTION TWO OF THIS ACT, CONSISTING OF A PORTION OF THE STONY KILL FARM ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION CENTER UNDER THE JURISDICTION OF THE DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL CONSERVATION for the purpose of constructing and maintaining electric transmission lines, upon such terms and conditions [including consideration as the board of EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted.
