   on Tourism, Parks, Arts and Sports Development
 
 AN ACT to amend the general business law, in relation to  the  jurisdic-
   tion  of  the  state  athletic  commission;  and to amend the economic
   development law, in relation to the authorization  of  the  department
   of  economic development to give a preference to any tourist promotion
   agency that is promoting the sport of cricket
 
   THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section  1.  Section 1004 of the general business law, as amended by a
 chapter of the laws of 2021 amending  the  general business  law  relat-
 ing  to including the promotion and expansion of cricket in the state of
 New    York   to   the jurisdiction of the state athletic commission, as
 proposed in legislative bills numbers S.146 and  A.479,  is  amended  to
 read as follows:
   § 1004. Jurisdiction of the commission. [1.] The commission shall have
 and  is  hereby  vested with the sole direction, management, control and
 jurisdiction over:
   [(a)] 1. all authorized combative sports;
   [(b)] 2. all licenses or permits granted by the commission to any  and
 all persons or entities who participate in authorized combative sports;
   [(c)] 3. all determinations regarding the authorization of amateur and
 professional sanctioning entities;
   [(d)]  4. all gyms, clubs, training camps and other organizations that
 maintain training facilities to prepare  persons  for  participation  in
 authorized professional combative sports;
   [(e)]  5.  the  promotion of professional wrestling exhibitions to the
 extent provided for in this article; and
   [(f)] 6. all contracts directly related to the conduct  of  authorized
 professional combative sports in the state of New York.
   [(g)]  7.  All disclosures to the commission shall be deemed confiden-
 tial.
