S T A T E O F N E W Y O R K ________________________________________________________________________ 9971 I N A S S E M B L Y April 27, 2022 ___________ Introduced by M. of A. COOK -- read once and referred to the Committee on Higher Education AN ACT amending chapter 534 of the laws of 1993, amending the education law relating to physical therapy assistants, in relation to the effec- tiveness thereof THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 2 of chapter 534 of the laws of 1993, amending the education law relating to physical therapy assistants, as amended by chapter 107 of the laws of 2018, is amended to read as follows: § 2. This act shall take effect on the sixtieth day after it shall have become a law and shall remain in effect until June 30, [2022] 2026 on which date it shall be repealed. § 2. This act shall take effect immediately. EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted. LBD15462-01-2
